Default Advice needed over buying a laptop

Hi
i am a 12th pass student and am deciding where to go for higher studies
i have opted for cs in vit and thus am looking for a suitable laptop for me
looks do not matter but the thing has to be a good performer
it does not need to be a graphic monster but graphic power should be enough to run the newer games at full low settings
and yes a large hard disk would be much appreciated
thank you

I think it is the time for playing games for you, apart for your higher study thing.
If gaming is the scene, then go for ACER 5740g, champion performer in price. Its price is within 43k.
Basic configuration is like
Core i5 420M 2.23 GHz (turbo Boost @ 2.53 Ghz)
4 GB DDR3 1066 MHz Ram
500 GB SATA II 5400 rpm HDD
15.6" Acer Crystal Display with Max Res 1366X768
4 USB
Card Reader, Dolby Digital Sound output
2.8 Kg Weight.
Batter: 3 Hrs for normal use
You can check performance review in all the sites and every where it excels.
