Core i3 rig. Need Help.

My friend is planning to buy a core i3 rig in a week or 2 from nehru place, new Delhi.
please suggest me any changes if required in the following configuration and help me fill in the gaps:

CPU : intel core i3 530 --5.8k

MOBO : (need help here) --5 to 6K

RAM : 2GBx1 DDR3 1333MHz (manufacturer..??) --2.6k
will upgrade to 4GB after few months.

HDD : 1TB (seagate or WD..??) --3.6k

GPU : ATi 5770 (memory??) (Brand??) --10k (max)

PSU : Corsair VX450 (i hope this will be enough) --??

CABINET : Coolermaster Elite 310 --1.5k

DVD DRIVE : DVD writer (band..??) --1.1K

MONITOR : samsung Lavender series P2250 --8.5k
(full HD monitor)

O.S : windows 7

this comp will be used for gaming purposes (burnout, crysis etc..), watching movies, internet.

if your friend not hell bound in getting i3, ask him change decision to AMD proccy. & than he can get better config for his PC. maybe a HD5850. well as i2 will ask same as Jaskanwar, whats your friends budget?

@sam: What's the problem with intel's Core i3 range??? Actually i don't any knowledge about AMD systems, neither does he.
could u suggest me an alternative AMD config.

Anyways, ppl plz help me complete this intel core i3 configuration.

problem is next year (actually 2010 last quarter) Intel will bring out a new socket & this will no longer support i3. so any motherboard bought today will be obsolete even before this years end. also i3's price is a bit too high for the performance. i3 best if the user going OC. it can reach 4.5Ghz. at stock speed, its a waste of money at most.

if going by AMD, get this:

Processor: Athlon II X4 630 2.8GHz @ 4.7k
Motherboard: Biostar TA890GXE @ 6.6k (to support 6 cores later)
Ram: Kingston 4Gb DDR3 1333 @ 5.8k or Corsair 4Gb DDR3 kit.

Graphics Card: MSI HD5770 HAWX 1GB GDDR5 @ 10.2k
Optical Drives: LG GH22NS50 @ 1.1k
PSU: Corsair VX450W @ 3.8k

The prices are inclusive of taxes on their website.
