Question Help!!!!LAN card giving problem??


Today I have purchased iball 10/100 mbps LAN card. But the card is not working. In (my network place/Device manager) it showing the device but when I am connecting the Ethernet cable it showing unplugged...Is there any problem in the card? Please guys help me

You can try to reseat it. Or test it on another system.

hav u installed it?? If not update it with microsoft windows update(if u r running vista or 7)! Also try ot diagnose it by right clicking on local area connection icon in network connections and follow the instructions!!

First, don't buy these iBall, Intex and Zebronics LAN Cards. They all have a fake Silan Hongzhou chip disguised as a Realtek chip which gives tons of driver problems especially in Linux.

Try to get a LAN Card from D-link/Linksys/Netgear.

I tried both in XP/Win 7 32 bit but it not working it showing network cable unplugged...... I will ask shopkeeper for replacement. Thanks guys for your suggestions.
