Question Seagate Warranty

Hi guys,

New Seagate 500GB SATA HDD which I got from Aashirwad Comp (S.P Road , Bangalore) this weekend is not detecting . I connected to 3 of my friends PC , but still no luck . The drive just spins for a few seconds when switched on and then goes silent.

What could be the problem ?
Also should I go back to the Aashirwad Comp for RMA or contact Seagate service center (please let me know the name and address also)?

-Thanks

Man just give it to the shop from you purchased it.They will do the warranty thing.Commonly they will give you a new one instantly. You dont need to worry about warranty.

They should give you a new one cause the drive is faulty when you had purchased.

AS its not even one week, go to the shop and ask for a replacement...
IMO, they should give you rather sending to RMA...
