Re: Upgrading PC
can try out these:
Processor: Athlon II X4 630: 4.7k
Motherboard: Biostar TA785G3 HD: 4.1k
Ram: A-Data 2Gb DDR3 1333Mhz: 2.7k
Hard Disk: Western Digital 500Gb Blue: 2k
Graphics Card: Sapphire HD5670 512Mb: 5.3k
PSU: FSP Saga II 400W: 2.1k
Cabinet: use old cabby but i suggest buy new one. anyone you like.
Monitor: Benq G2020HD 20”: 6.8k
Total: 27.7k. to lower more, go for X3 435 & save 1k. lower grade board, Biostar TA785G A3+, saving 0.5k. however don't compromise on PSU. also as you mentioned gaming, going for anything below the card i given is not recommended.

Re: Upgrading PC
I wud say don't compromise on proccy and mobo. Go as sam suggested you.
If you're really out of budget then compromise on gfx crd rather than proccy or mobo
And sam......gr8 config as usual

Re: Upgrading PC
For monitor, go for the AOC 19" monitor. It is having 5000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 1440X900 max resolution, which is actually good for gaming. Price in Kolkata is 5.5k. Go for this. Resolution 1366X768 is actually the max res of a 18.5" monitor. For better result opt for the AOC one.

Re: Upgrading PC
One should never compromise on gfx card if the machine is for gaming, Proccy doesn't affect gaming as much as gfx card. I'll again stress like in another thread, go for the best gfx card in your budget look for the proccy later.

Re: Upgrading PC
Actually, I have not looked into graphics cards of that price range recently, But I would suggest going for a DX 11 card as that would be somewhat future proof. I would recommend Radeon HD 5750. but again, I don't know the exact market price, somewhere around 8000. Just see if it fits (in your budget)
