Default help for upgrade!!


hi friends... i have bought a intel core2 quad 2.66ghz 4mb processor...
and i need help to choose a compatible mobo of any brand for this pro....i already have 2gb ddr2 ram , so decided to use the same...also iam prefering to use my old 9400gt for now and then later upgrade it,.. my budget for mobo is rs.2500.. pleas hhelp...

look out for G31 mobos. they will set you back by 2.2k or so, depending on which you pick. can opt for P41 chipset based mobo. but will cost more. well stick to G3* series chipset mobo.

Gigabyte Intel G31 Chipsets would cost you around 2.3k and G41 Chipsets around 2.5k to 3k (In both the case price depends on the model you pick up)

You can go for ASUS P5KPL series boards starting from 2.2k

Gigabyte, ASUS etc of-crs better than Intel chipsets. Well at this budget I will suggest to go for ASUS P5KPL series boards. Pick up one that falls within your range.
