Default Guys help in building a VFM gaming PC

Hi everyone,

My cousin is planning to buy a PC in a few days and he is confused with what configuration he should go for...
Basically he needs a PC for gaming which should run the current as well as upcoming games without lagging (he doesn't plan to game on full settings)..
He already has a monitor, Keyboard, mouse, speakers ...
So please suggest a gaming PC in the price range of 20K~25K but not more than that....

Cheers,
Sid_gamer

not sure which brands released 880G/870X. look out for AsRock. it should cost same as biostar but better quality (& odd colour scheme). Asus quality deteriorating day by day, so need to be careful if choosing Asus. Gigabyte costly. DFI usually heck costly. well, than look out for MSI, AsRock. else Asus or Bio*.

its value ram. so everything same. A-Data is good. its not desi ram after all. and cost 200-400 bucks cheaper, usually.

present game, yes. even on FULL HD. maybe low settings. about future games, games will run, but not in FULL HD resolution. i not recommended HD5750 cause it lacks firepower badly. for 1.5k more he can get a HD5770. so, best option for him is HD5670. get the 1 with Arctic cooler. OC the baby a bit to get close to HD5750 for no additional cost

What is his Monitor's resolution..?
HD 5670 will be good for anything up to 1600 X 900
I am getting 50+ FPS in most games in 1600 X 900
He might be able to play future games in standard HD (1280 x 720) or even in lower resolutions.
In a VFM gaming PC with budget 20-25k HD 5670 makes sense.

yes. 4 PCIe X 16 slots grouped together. not to forget its AMD's highest end chipset. Biostar has just made a joke out of itself.

may look at the newly available Biostar HD5770 1Gb. it got a good cooler (not sure if its PWM). so will keep the card cool & silent

1. only con. it uses AMD's reference cooler. pros is its price.

2. PowerColor got 2 card. V2 got the better cooler. and price almost same as Sapphire. Cons is warranty.

3. with MSI Hawx i'll say, get what you pay for. it costs but delivers. someone who likes flavored ice cream wil definitely prefer HAWX over the other two.

HAWX. HAWK is the name of a new card introduced by Inno 3D i think. yes, usually 500 bucks more, however you getting a card with good overclocking potential. so 500bucks worth if u playing close to 10k.
