amd athlonx4 compatiblity with PC 10666?

Is a DDR 1333 Mhz (PC 10666)4gb dual kit ram going to be compatible with an AMD athlonx4 630 propus??
The reason i`m asking this is because AMDs offcial page for athlon x2 says that DDR3 1333Mhz(it only says PC 10600) is compatible with those processors.Here is the link:

also one more thing...what exactly is dual channel...if i buy 2GB now and 2Gb ram later...can i configure them for dual channel operation?

yep its compatible, why don't you go for corsair xms 4gb kit.........

dual channel means ram kits in 2 slots........ yes you can add another 2 gb kit after wards and it automatically becomes dual channel........

yeah i`d like to go with the xms one too...but its too costly...any idea if i can get it online for less than 6.5k?

just another 6-7 hundred bucks more than the one you selected, other wise you could go with your selection.......only thing not famous here and might be very few users , so hard to comment..........

For having a dual channel configuration, both rams have to be of same size and same speed. If you buy a 1333 MHz 2 GB ram now, u have to buy a 1333 MHz, 2 GB ram to use them in dual channel configuration.

Right now I'm using two ram of 1333 Mhz, one from Transcend and other from Kingston.

not necessary, even if the rams are of different clock speeds it would run dual channel, however at the lowest of both........
