How to remove bios password for compaq notebook

if you remember the passwd then login and un-check this feature, otherwise remove cmos battery and replace it after a min.

the process is same for all laptops & desktops
i.e. remove the CMOS battery for a min

don't think removing cmos battery will at least in case of a desktop. you have to try different bios jumper position.
cmos only save date and time i think

every changes made is saved on cmos and when you clear its memory - it sets the board back to factory settings.

CMOS only save date and time is this a joke
who told u this ??

every data/memory of Motherboard like date, time, bios setting, password..... everything is saved via CMOS Battery and when it is removed it setting restore to default factory setting
