need help to upgrade

my current configuration is

processor - Intel core 2 duo E4500 2.20 GHZ
motherboard - intel essential series D945GCPE

i wish to change my motherboard as it is giving problem and it does not have slot for using graphic cards.
Also my power supply unit is busted. so need a new one which can support my 250 + 500 GB internal hard disks as well as a graphic card.

my budget is
for motherboard .. 3000-4000 Rs.
Power supply unit .. 1000-1500 Rs.
Graphic card .. 5000-6000 Rs.

Please help
and also, Dx11 compatibility depends on motherboard also or only Graphic cards.

you can get Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L @ 3k
i dont recommend spending on a graphics card for this rig as the processor already very slow..
for your rig any local psu 250-300w psu will suffice...
dx11 compatibility depends on gfx card and the os u are using

jasji he could get a 9500gt for 3.4k what do you think? will the proc bottleneck that as well.?

there is no need to spend on such parts which will become useless after some time.
9500gt costs around 2.6-2.7k dude.

instead he should opt for G31 based motherboard. a better PSU (FSP or Gigabyte) & he can go with HD5670 or HD5570.

proccy isn't so bad. all depends on the amount of ram he have.
