Question New asus P5QPL-AM MOTHERBOARD PROBLEM


recently I bought core2duo e7500 and asus P5QPL-AM motherboard but i have a problem that when system booting it takes time more than usual.
when I press power button then my dvd drive gets light then off after that again get light and then off(but monitor light is off during this) then 3rd time gets light, moniotr power on and sytem booting

please guys help me I that what is the problem?



CONFIG:- CORE2DUO E7500+ASUS P5QPL-AM+1 GB ZION 667+15 INCH SAMSUNG MONITOR+HITACHI 320GB HD+ FRONTECH 450W PSU+

You mean it is triple posting..? Check the motheboard LEDs when this happens. Do the go on, then off, then on then off, then on..and finally it posts successfully.

Reset the BIOS once. Pull out the CMOS battery for a few minutes, with all the power cables removed.

no its not solved I send mobo to the asus serv ice center
