HDD beeping.......please help

i have 320gb seagate HDD which is almost 1 and half year old......
suddenly some months ago it had vista installed ,it stopped booting and it would stay at the green bar and would not boot.but i installed windows 7 and formatting one partition (127 gb).. which had vista...it booted up nice but after a month thee same problem occured ..the system goes till the 'windows is starting' and nothing happens for hours together..ive heard a faint beeps and windows gets stuck ....after big investigation i am sure it is coming from HDD......

Backup all your data first. Format again and reinstall OS. If that is not happening, then I think it is time to take the drive to the service center. They will not recover any data, but give you a replacement drive.

If you can boot into the drive after formatting, backup data first, then download SeaTools for Windows from the Seagate website and run tests on the drive. If it shows errors, then get a replacement.
