Default Certified Repaired Hard Disk

Today i got my replaced seagate 400GB hard disk, as i send it for replacement due to bad sector. But i saw the disk is not a brand new disk. They have mentioned "certified Repaired Disk". What does it mena. Is it second Hand disk, or they send my disk back to again after replacement. Can i trust on this disk?
