Default An MFD for 8k

budget= 8k, can be extended to 10k

as the guy i'm getting it for has had a bad experience with HP so he wants any other brand and the other requirement is printing should be as cheap as possible, ink should be really cheap & it should be able to work with refilled ink

I gave you the brand names canon/HP/brother/epson -- now if u wanna remove HP remove it.

well nothing is cheap, now if you are for printing photos then canon is good, document prinint I will rate for HP, try to look for canon MX328
do not know brother models to suggest you one.

yeah but most of them are out of mind and you have taken HP out.
BTW where do you live, if here in Bangalore go into some showroom check out available printers and their prices. you still did not say what problem he got in the HP,
and MX328 is continuation of MX318 which was a very good printer

check here http://compareindia.in.com/products/...ional-devices/
check for less than 10000 checkbox. select brands you want
I see Samsung-SCX-4300 also in your range which is very good and economical for

about canon printer it can always be said they have best photo print quality

as I said I do not know brother printers so you need to dig in a little, though I will also try to read some reviews but latter.
