Default new pc strange problem

Hi all,
first of all thanks to all guys who are reading and trying to help me in this post.
Now my PC config is: Q95550, Gigabyte GA-ep45-ud3r, 2x2 gb corsair 800mhz ddr2, sparkle 9600gt, seagate 500gb barracuda,CM extreme power 600 watt, gigabyte cabinet, samsung 2233nws, MS combo, altec 5.1.(quick-heal 2010 total sequirity and nvidia forceware to the latest installed).
I used to run Win XP sp3, then upgrded to vista ultimate 64-bit-sp1 (to access 4 gb memory)with fedora 12 in dual boot. A strange thing started few weeks back. I was unable to boot in vista in first chance. I had to boot in fedora , then wait for 5-10 mins. then restart and was able to boot in to Vista. Last week vista was suddenly going blank , after resuming with a mesage-"display driver stopped responding and recovered successfully". along with came -blue screen and system reboot. I decided to remove vista and formatted C: and installed Win -7 prof 64-bit with latest nvidia drivers for graphics card. but instantly the display going blank and desktop returning with a mesage-"display driver stopped responding and recovered successfully". I took bk-up of my all data, deleted all partition , created new and installed Win-XP sp3 afresh. Now the i am only able to boot in safe mode then after few tries to normal mode. but every thing is running very slow , the menus etc . Also in windows the blue color is turning deep bloody red in some parts and ghosts of other windows appearing. pl. help...............

did you try booting into safe mode and installing the latest drivers for your card?? Probably that is the issue. If you got a CD with your graphics card, install the drivers from the disc from safe mode and then update them to the latest version available from the nvidia website.

Windows may also work slowly if you haven't installed your chipset drivers. you should be able to find them in the disc provided with your motherboard.
