Suggest a 19-20 inch LCD monitor for gaming

Hi all,

I currently have a 17 inch CRT and I need to get a 19-20 inch LCD monitor.
My primary use will be gaming and the reason I am not going for bigger screens is that I fear I will lose out on performance while playing games.

My current config is -
2 x 1GB @ 800 MHz Kingston RAM.
Cooler Master 460W PSU.
Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3L.
C2D E7400 2.8 Ghz.
ZOTAC GTX 260^2

With this config, I can play games like COD4, FarCry2, FIFA 10, Crysis, STALKER, etc with high settings enabled at pretty good fpses. I would need similar performance on the new monitor also. So please consider this while suggesting.

I do not need a widescreen. The aspect ratio should be 4:3

If there are no good/cheap non-widescreen monitors, please suggest a widescreen in the 19-20 inch category.Important factors are build quality and viewing angle.

You didn't mentioned your budget and the resolution you intend to game.

If you have low budget look at Benq G2020HD @ 6.3k. This is most VFM and gr8 LCD at this budget.

Otherwise if you have slight high budget look at Benq G2420HD @ 10.5k or Dell S2409W - 12.4k.

there is one ST20 something in dell that too is good and in similar price.

I have a limited budget of about 8k. I am not specfic about the resolution, but it should be somewhere in the area where the games' performance is not affected. maybe 1280 x 1024Thanks for your suggestions....
