Warranty woes

Friends,
I had sent my AMD Athlon x2 4800 processor for replacement on Jan4 2010 through my local reseller but am yet to receive the replacement processor or any communication from AMD. Should I file a case with the local consumer forum or is it normal for them to take this much time.

Well no replies anyway I got my replacement proccy from AMD today so Mods can close this thread.
