AMD / intel - best VFM???

need 2 systems....
needs...

1.
ddr3 + raid 5 + dual gbps lan or 2 pci slots.
mobo + proc = 12000 budget.

2.
ddr2 + gbps lan
mobo + proc = 7000-8000 budget

needed best vfm for both..

i inquired my dealer here ...

and got the following prices.....

1.
intel i3 530 + intel mobo = 12000 (ddr3)
vs
amd phenom 2 x4 925 + asus m4a78t-e mobo = 11900 (ddr3)

which is better in performance.... as these 2 suits my budget....

2.
intel c2d 2.93 + asus p5kpl amps mobo = 8250
vs
amd phenom 2 x2 545 + asus m2n68 mobo = 7300

which is better in performance.... as these 2 suits my budget....

or any other that u pals suggest.... that would help..

the AMD ones are more VFM.

however, in config 2, you can go for Phenom x2 555 and unlock it.

the 78t-e is based on 790Gx. better get Athlon 630 + ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO based around 785G. 2 times better graphics than i3's. & asus utility wil automatically OC the graphics. get i3 only if u wish to OC the processor

since the pcs r for my office so no gfx card...or anything.....just plain...
14hrs photoshop usage..... thats it....

no need for better grafix.... as nothing else will be started ont he pc...other then photoshop and acdsee...

if for office, then get the following :

Athlon II X4 620 or 630 if price diff low.
BIOSTAR TA785G3HD or Biostar TA785G A3
4Gb DDR3 ram.
HDD of capacity as u wish.
Zebronics bijli with default PSU.

Athlon II X4 630/635
BIOSTAR TA790 or ASUS 790 based board[go am3 based board]
4Gb if DDR3 ram
HDD of capacity as u wish
Zebronics bijli with default PSU..

if yes then illl go 4 it...adn wot abt the 1st config.....
the pc will act as a storage server....

X4 630 is better for longer run, specially if used for photoshop. X2 545 is good but 2 cores won't help much.

as for 1st config, let me ask someone else help u out here.

but if u want to do overclocking
go for Phenom X2 555 & over clock it..[enable disabled core then it will hv 4cores]

but if ur going to Multitask go for i3 or i5 based system
else 630 is AWsum
