so can i unlock my processor

better get the X2 555 which wil unlock surely. with 555 the chance of unlocking is ~75%

DAMN!!! i was talking about the chance of unlocking of X2 550. spelling mistake, sorry. yup, with X2 555 the chance is ~95%. i can safely say anyone considering X2 550 should skip it & get X2 555.

as per various review this batch has high chance of getting unlocked but i have no idea about 555 batches that can be unlocked

motherboard offer unlocking core too..

well get X2 555 BE. they are more OC'ble. unlocking is almost guarantee. if i were you i'll never get X2 550 BE based on batch number only. cause their unlocking chance is much lower than X2 555. almost all the 785G & 790GX, better chipsets offer unlocking option.
