@ arpanmukherjee1

Whoa buddy what a budget! I don't think there's a config available at that price but i 'll try to be as close as possible.

So here goes nothing....

1. PROCESSOR - CORE i7 975 EXTREME @ 54K
2.MOTHERBOARD - ASUS P6T7 WS SUPERCOMPUTER @ 33K(3 SLI AND QUAD XFIRE).

3.RAM - Corsair TR3X6G1600C9 6GBKit @ 10K
4.HARD DRIVE - A Solidata 2.5" SATA SSD K2 Series - 256GB @ 44K
B WDC 1TB Black S-ATA 3.5" Hard Drive - WD1001FALS(2NOS) @ 10K

5. GPU - XFX HD 5970 BE 2GB GDDR5 (4NOS. QUAD XFIRE) @ 240K
6. PSU - CORSAIR HX 1000 @ 10K OR COOLERMASTER REAL POWER 1100 UCP @ 11K
7. UPS - GO FOR A BIG INVERTER TO BACK UP THIS SYSTEM
8. MONITOR - Dell U2410 24" Ultrasharp (IPS PANEL) @ 30K
9.OPTICAL DRIVE - SONY BLUE RAY WRITER @ 10K
HP DVD1260 @ 1.4K

10.CABINET - COOLERMASTER COSMOS OR STACKER @ 14K
11.SOUND CARD- Asus XONAR-HDAV1.3 @ 12K
12.KEYBOARD- Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard @ 5K
13.MOUSE - Microsoft SideWinder X5 Mouse @ 2.5K
14.SPEAKERS-LOGITECH Z5500 @ 15K

TOTAL = RS 492000(FOUR LAKH NINETY TWO THOUSAND ONLY)

Man i actually overshoot your budget but you can make some additions and substractions. You can also opt for mva and pva panels from NEC.

Let me know whether you like it or not & any improvements are most welcome.

CHEERS BUDDY............

MONITOR - Dell U2410 24" Ultrasharp (IPS PANEL) @ 30K
Way to less screen space, for the type of power he is going to harness. It will be just a waste of equipment if he can not utilize. He should play on those large LCD monitors via HDMI. Thos >42" things.

GPU - XFX HD 5970 BE 2GB GDDR5 (4NOS. QUAD XFIRE) @ 240K
Doubt this will work. This is more than quad fire. Remember each HD5970 is all ready internally Cross firing. so 4 x HD5970 = 4 x 2 = 8 Cores. The drivers cannot do this..at least as of now. 2 x HD5970, is proper quad fire. More than enough.

By the way..Arpan, what you do for a living..?

I had seen such useless threads before ...
I can build you the fastest possible rig for that money.. here it goes
CPU intel P4 3.0ghz( socket 468 ) , fastest till date Rs 55000
Motherboard Intel original 865gbf , its used so i will give for less Rs 15000
Ram 512*4 ddr1 , Rs5500 each
GPU I have a used 7600GT AGP card for Rs ( Rs 45000 only ) I personally guarantee it can start all games so future proof
Cabinet Intex nova ( has a very powerful PSU included ) Rs12000
CD rom asus 52x !! Yeah u read it right 52x speed Rs 8000
Soundcard Onboard 5.1 sound Rs 5000 :-P
Motherboard is high end so it does not have lan so 1/100 card Rs 5000
Keyboard and mouse ( I will post their pictures ) Rs 12000
This totals around 1.8 lakhs so leaves more then 2 for the monitor
I have a 17 samsung crt for 1.5 lakh but i love it so much that i have decided not to sell it
Whoever wants this monster rig can PM me their details
PS : shipping charges extra
