Dude, in this budget its difficult to get a laptop based on your requirements. And yes, forget core2duo, you wont get a lappy which has this processor in this budget.

Check out Acer emachines e725 Google for its specs. Its availalbe for 23k.

Thumbs up Re: Budget laptop suggestion needed (upto 25K)

Dude at this tight budget, think Acer machines will be best for u....

Chk out Acer 5542....Its a AMD model ..Specs mentioned below:
Acer Aspire 5542 Technical Specification:
  • Windows 7 Home Basic
  • AMD Athlon X2 Dual-Core Processor M300 (1MB L2 cache, 2.0GHz)
  • ATI Radeon HD 4200 Graphics
  • 15.6″ Inch (1366×768 pixels) Acer CineCrystal TFT LCD
  • 2 GB DDR2 RAM
  • 320GB Hard Disk
  • DVD Writer
  • Dolby optimized surround sound system with two built-in stereo speakers
  • Acer Crystal Eye webcam
  • Acer InviLink 802.11b/g/Draft-N Wi-Fi
  • 4 USB port, 1 HDMI port
  • 5-in-1 card reader
  • 6-cell Li-Ion Battery
  • Weight – 2.8 Kg
  • 1 Year Warranty
If u have Windows 7 OS, then u can remove that while placing the order and upgrade ram to 4gb...My friend did that n it cost him 32k...

If you are looking for Intel model then the same config like above will cost you around 35k....

This is one month old price im talking bout...May be the prices might have fallen till now but dont expect a drastic change

Cheers....Anup
