aah perfect topic, i've been searching for.
Ok, i am also planning to go for a soundcard. Not looking for an expensive one.
I am thinking about Creative X-fI Extreme Music.
But, there are few doubts and things i need to clear.
I'll be installing the card with 4GB RAM on MSI P45 Platinum board. And plan to use it for driving 5.1 speaker system.
1. Are the drivers and related applications are available for Win 7 64 bit OS?
2. Are there any H/W or Application specific compatibility issues?
3. And lastly, i need comments on this card.
Is there anyone using X-Fi Extreme Music on Windows 64 bit? May be they share their experiences too. That'll be great.
And lastly, any other alternatives ?
