mobo screwed with anti-static bag..HELP!!!

i v bought a new machine
my dealer has screwed the mobo with the anti-static bag into the cabinet. i m clueless as to why he has done it!!

sud the mobo be screwed with the anti-static bag inside the cabinet?

No ways......you mean the anti static bag is between the cabinet and the back of the motherboard..?

i dont know why it is there!!!

Well..it should not be there..at all. It is just for transport, and if you ever place the motherboard, on a flat surface (table,bed)..to mount the HSF, then you put the static bag in between. Remove it.

jus called a friend of mine who said its ok if its there .. as the bag will protect the mobo if there is leakage current or incase current passes thru the earthing .. i m sure he was sleeping .. its well past 1am

It will make the motherboard get hhot...man...and start to melt...remove it. It is not fine. How can current pass through the earthing, the motherboard is suspended on spacers....!
