Ipod not original

recently i purchased an i pod mp3 Player (Not original)
through online shopping. when i connect it to my computer
through usb nothing is shown in my computer. (My OS is Vista)
is there any driver required for it. or is there any problem with the
device.

i am not able to copy any songs to it.

^ what do you mean by not original, is it pmp? might required drivers, has they not supplied any cd with it.

^^ those are chinese mp3 players or PMPs, but definately not ipods.
google for drivers.

no cd was supplied with the item azaad.

recently i plugged it into an xp machine.
it was identified as flash usb drive.
so confirmed the thing is serviceable.

but how can i use it with vista or windows 7????
