Default SYSTEM SHUTDOWN

Friends I added a new XFX HD 4670 graphic card to my PC with PSU 500W. Now the problem is my PC shuts down after a few mins of playing games like COD5 etc. I found
my CPU is heating upto 100C on full load. Could this be the cause of the system shutdowns or should I consider other reasons also. My CPU IS under warranty.

SPECS
ATHLON 64X2 4800
GIGABYTE GAMA78G S2H
WD 250GB
4 GB RAM

your pc is too hot, check the heat sink and the thermal paste. if this doesn`t help then go for coolers from other brands.
