Arrow Connect PC to TV.


Is there some way I can connect my PC to TV, I have this motherboard..

If yes how, what will I need and the cost etc.

no u cant... cause there is no pci-e or agp slot on ur board.......!!!!!!!!!!

yup you need a pci-e port
and a cable(dont know what exactly it called ) around 100bucks

And why will I need the pci-e port for.. can't I just connect the TV and the PC with the above cable !

I think the others thought you wanted to watch TV via your PC, so they said PCI-E slot for TV Tuner Card. I think this method should work, I mean the one you just posted. But you will only be able to use the TV as a monitor, AFAIK.

Oh no guys I don't wan't to watch TV channels via my PC, I know one needs a TV Tuner card for that which I don't have. I just want to connect my PC to TV to be used as a monitor just as Krow said.

But the problem is I have only one VGA port and every time I want to connect the TV to my PC I will have to disconnect my 15" PC-monitor which will be bit tedious. Any solution to this problem or any other way I could connect to the TV to be used as a monitor.
