Iam using both winxp & ubuntu on my system for quite long without much issues.Recently i upgraded my ubuntu from 9.04 to 9.10.Since then i started facing problems with sound on my win xp.Yeah! it does sound weird.Whenever i play multimedia on ubuntu and re-boot to windows i don't get any sound even though every thing looks fine.Someone in a forum suggested instead of re-boot to shutdown the system and boot again.I tried that and found out that after powering up i had to re-install the sound drivers and then everything works fine.This started couple of days back.Now yesterday a new problem started .Now surround sound is not working in windows.Only front speakers are working.When i check with creative software all speakers are working.I checked all settings in windows and everything looks fine.In ubuntu i have surround sound.Please help!.Iam currently unable to watch movies or play games in windows.
