Default CPU, MoBo & RAM within 6.5k

Well friends I am upgrading an old PC and I am pretty tight on the budget

Will need the thee within Rs 6500.

Processor:
I have no preference or prejudices for either AMD or INTEL. Anything which is better bang for bucks will do.

Motherboard:
Must have decent inbuilt graphics(as far as possible). Of course I have no plans for a GPU in the near future.

RAM:
Will buy DDR2 with the remaining money.

Budget is pretty low... give your best bet. And THANKS A LOT in advance.

Athlon II X2 240 @ 2.8k
Biostar A785G @ 3.4k

Total = 6.2k

RAM 2GB @ 1.8k or so...or buy second hand

Total 8k

Sorry mate, but this is the cheapest, and BEST option too...

If you wont be upgrading for next five years i suggest you go the intel way and get the core i5 750 along with a good p55 platform. Its much more future proof than amd right now.At 40k for total budget you can easily investin the i5.

Yea, the i5+P55 offers much more future proof status then the AMD X4.

You could go with..
Core i5-750 2.66Ghz - 10150
Gigabyte GA-P55M-UD2 - 7350 (corrected as below)
GPU : Powercolor HD4890 1GB DDR5 - 11890
2 X 2GB DDR3 1333 - Kingston 4 GB - 4600 (for dual-channel)
HDD : Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 - 500GB SATA - 2371
PSU : Tagan BZ500(modular) - 4463
Chassis : Coolermaster Elite 335 - 2132

---------------------------------------------------
Total: 42956

You can play around with the GPU and Chassis and HDD to tweak prices.
