Airtel Usb to Tata usb

Hey guys,

ive been using the airtel usb internet for quite sometime nw and im uterly disappointed with the speed is offers.....a day back i was at my frnds place and he had the tata photon usb with him and i cudnt believe tht he cud see a match running on live stream non stop.,..
now my query is tht wat if i surrender the airtel sim and get a tata photon sim and put it into the airtel usb modem.
i think technically it should be correct, unless its a case of gsm and cdma..!
pls let me knw..

im dying to use tata photon, but i dnt want to buy its usb modem because in any case if i surrender my airtel sim, the usb modem that i got with it is gonna go waste.

Then just try it. 3 things will happen..

1. It will work
2. It will not work
3. 2 + the device/or module will get shorted.

I doubt it would be the same, am sure the firmware for each individual device/SIM is different.
