Default Need help to OC Q6600

I need some guideline or help to OC my Q6600,can you help me???
Here is my pc configuration:-
Intel C2Q600
Asus P5K Premium WIFI-AP
4x1GB DDR2 667MHz
Seagate Baracuda 7200.12 500GB HDD
ATI R3650 (ordered ATI HD5850)
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus
Cooler Master Xtreme 500W

It is the Q6600 if I am not mistaken and not the Q600. Check on CPU-Z if you like.

asigh and topgear both are intel users and they can help you best.

^^Refer to asigh's chart there. BTW, I hope you are not on stock cooler. If it is not stock cooler, then go ahead with it.

No, I have changed to CM Hyper 212 Plus Cooler.... it reduced my system temp 51C to 34-36C.

Follow that chart. If you run into issues, we can help.

Monitor the temperature:

1. Everest Lavalyst in taskbar -- all 4 cores.
2. RealTEMP or OCCT for stress.

It is my first time in overclocking.. I changed my CPU core speed from 2402MHz to 2527Mhz..:-P
