Exclamation Sapphire ATI HD5870 and HD5850 price raises....


Yesterday I looked to TheITWares,the prices were of HD5870 and HD50:
Sapphire HD5870 - Rs.25000
Sapphire HD5850 - Rs.17000

and today prices are
Sapphire HD5870 - Rs.25950
Sapphire HD5850 - Rs.17650

price to kam hote h , badte thodi na h...

That's strange....the prices of HD5870 ended up 379$ instead of 399$ yet the higher price...

and HD5850 ended up at 259$ instead of 299$ and this price getting higher...bad move....bad prices in India..

AMD is facing a shortage of supplies. Apparently they are short of the 40nm wafers, which Nvidia bought a lot for Tegra IIRC. So there is a shortage of those cards. And hence you can expect prices to go up now.

Price is only gonna go up until nvidia launches newer cards.
