Default BEST IPS Display

I am looking for a good 24 Inch IPS Display having a resolution 1920 X 1200. Dell U2410 seems to be the best option (legendary NEC 2490 is very expensive and I always prefer Dell over HP thats why don't wanna consider HP LP2475).

Does anyone know, how much will Dell U2410 cost in Indian market? I don't know why stupid Dell indian site has stopped displaying prices of the displays

AFAIK, the Dell U2410 is still not available in India.

You can ask www.primeabgb.com or www.theitwares.com for its availability.

This is dell's Indian site. Dell U2410 is listed there, but no price is mentioned

Hmmm... IPS Panels suffer from viewing angle troubles AFAIK, but there is a midway alternative : The Dell 2209WA @ 16k.

call Dell customer care or email to them in the address given in the Dell India website for price details. They will call you for sure, dealing with Dell directly is always the best for discounts and after sales support.

2209WA will come no where near IPS panel monitors when it comes to quality display. but IPS panel monitors are only useful for people who will be using it for studio works like I said before.

Well, if OP has budget, then U2410 is the way to go, else, 2209WA is a great option looking at price and picture quality.

You got to be kidding me. IPS characteristic compraise wide viewing angles and good colour reproduction, which tredition TN panels have lagged. I guess they are comparable to CRT and producses almost the same color as CRTs. There's no point using TN panel as a baseline for different IPS panel comparison

Thanks for the suggestion, I already have a 22 inch display in my main rig. So getting another 22inch display is totally out of qustion. However my old pentium D rig if fading, for which I was planning to upgrade with a 24 inch display. I am not in a hurry, hopefully by christmas its price should decline further.
