Even with no CD/DVD in the drive, as soon as the computer boots up it ejects. And then when I push it back in, it stays for just a couple seconds and then out it comes again! This is very strange, so I hope someone can help me here... The DVD ROM model is TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552U if that tells you anything???

Its definitely a drive problem. I too face it not everytime though. Even at times, my DVD rom drive fails to eject at all. Try keeping a wasted CD/DVD into the drive. I too keep one so that it ejects only when I want it to.

Update the bios using samsung ODD (google it out )- I have a samsung 203D, used to have similar issue but got resolved after the flash. I am not dimissing mechanical fault, but no harm in trying.
