Which laptop: Compaq or Dell

Hello,

I am about to buy a laptop. Budget is around 38k. Initially I thought that Dell Inspiron 1545 is a good choice.

But the similar config from Compaq is coming a bit cheaper (~1k).

I can't tell the difference and they are almost equally trusted brands. What do you suggest guys?

Any other advice too welcome.

I would pick Dell over Compaq anyday!!

Also, I think Acer 5738(G) and 5739 are superb models, especially 5739.

Even i go wid Dell... atleast for their after sales servicing which is good enough... about Compaq/HP i have heard and read really bad 'bout it's servicing

If you want a really powerful laptop in all aspect (For multitasking, gaming etc), please have a look at the newly launched Zenith laptops. I think this a best buy thing because at this price, it is even hard to find C2D processors, and dedicated Gfx card is a dream.
