Default Dell 24" S2409W vs Benq 24" G2412HD

Hi,

Am thinking about a 24" computer display.

Why is there such a price difference between the above two.

Dell is like ~ 24K and the BenQ is ~12K.

How good are BenQ monitors...any other suggestions..?????

BenQ monitors are definitely worth price (based on other's reviews/opinions).
I've seen a picture to picture comparison between E2400HD and S2409W - S2409W wins by a small margin only. But if you can get S2409W for a cheaper price, then it is the way to go.

Like for ex: Phoenix at TE was selling S2409W at 12,750/- - It was a hot deal.
And no where S2409W is priced 24K, cause the dell representative itself has mentioned it under 20k (around 18k i guess).

Please let me know your budget mate. We can suggest accordingly

thanks...

Budget is not that much of an issue..but want the best VFM. I feel paying 18K for 24" computer panel is too much. Guess what 12-14K is a good ball park figure..!

An editorial on LCD panel quality and what to look for on your next purchase - TechSpot Blog

This is about 22" monitors. But nonetheless is good info if you are going to be buying LCD monitors.

Mate, I've told you - its just not the BenQ who are selling out monitors at cheap price.
Dell's S2409W - 12,750
AOC 2434PW - 14K (Find the review on this month's digit - its been recommended)
