so now if it gets the approval from you guys , i would like to know which cabby will fit the same. Also if anyone knows of any pitfalls, shortcomings or cons of this hsf (other than the gaps in the base b/w the heatpipes) post here. And do u think these gaps will trap heat?? If someone can spare the time to read the reviews .. have a look at the three of these. Thr,s a lot of difference in the opinions.

They Hyper 212+ is cheaper then the Hyper 212...why..???
Yes..just checked it out..true...! But so weird..why would an advanced model be cheaper...
Anyways...I use the Hyper 212 (non plus). It is a great cooler. Most of the time my E7400 stays...below 42C (non A/C room). Though my CPU is on stock with a low v-core of ~1.03V.
Regarding the gaps..those are because of the circular steel pipes running through the base: But this is a good design since the dissipating metal is directly touching the CPU.
....but yes, there would be gaps which could trap warm air.

....but you are getting future proofed. Or I would suggest, get the Hyper 212 (non plus), when ever you go for an i7 upgrade (or whatever), buy another cooler...!
Whats your budget for the cabinet. Most standard ATX cabinets should manage the Hyper 212. Anything with a width of > ~8.5" should suffice. Try the CM690 if you can...!
