Default Laptop help pliz.....


Hey guys i have a big problem with my laptop i.e. HP DV5 that comes with Windows Vista Basic...i recently installed updated antivirus and spyware remover and it removes all of my windows components also...
Then when i try to setup new windows it works fine till the completion...
It stops operating when it says Completing Instalation..I
have formated my drive and recovery is not possible plus i wanted it to be formated..Any suggestions pliz...

That's a great anti-virus you're using! Vista deserves to be detected as a virus and deleted

Jokes aside, which OS are you trying to install - Vista again or XP? Didn't the laptop come with a recovery partition? Or did you format that too?

i format all those...and am tying to install Vista again..my Vista boot disk works fine on my Pc but i have those problem with the lappy..

Simplest option is to reformat and reinstall the OS and use a Microsoft Security essentials and DO NOT disable user account control. That should make your computer secure enough. And son’t give your admin account’s password to anyone else. Use the non-admin account for everyday use.
