New Rig Help!!!

ok so i orignally planned to get this rig:1.Asus P5Q-Deluxe-14,500
2.Intel E8400-8,100
3.Thermaltake Ultra 120-3,000
4.CM elite 330-3,900.

But the problem is this is working out to around 30k! which is a bit much for me so i wanted to know if you can suggest a rig for the similar performance but less price

I am assuming that u will be taking a GPU also beyond tht budget coz the motherboard u specified dsnt have onbaord graphics.

here is a much better config :

Phenom II X4 940 -- 10300
Jetway Hummer H07 -- 7 k
TRUE -- 3k
Coolermaster CM690 -- 4.5 k

total around 25 k. Wayyyyy much better than the previous combo in every department.

A,graphics card i have (9600GT superclocker).Hmmm never really considered Amd but i will now,also can you tell me a config Processor and mobo 15k and the rest i will get later.I am also going to want to overclock.

Also will DDR 2 Memory work in a DDR 3 slot or will i need to get those also?

Ok insted of getting a quad core,what about AMD II X3 720BE?? how will that perform with the MSI 790GX-G65???

thts a good choice, but for tht mobo u'll need DDR3 ram. If u want thn i have a Biostar 790Gx board with Phenom II 720 bought yesterdy, un used. If u say thn u can have good deal only if u can settle for tht combo.

Otherwise i will recommend to go for a Quad core if u have the budget for tht.
