administrator has prohibited access to cd/dvd rom drives......and my pc wont read any cd or dvd's .....wat's the problem?....if anyone know plz help....

When you ask a question like this,

1. Give some indication of the problem in the subject line. Otherwise, many readers will not bother opening the thread. Something like "Access to CD/DVD drive denied".

2. State your OS. Very important for this type of question.

3. Use normal fonts except for certain words you want to highlight.

3. Say how and when the problem started, and give as many details as you can. E.g., does the drive show up where it's supposed to be or is it invisible?

BTW, in an environment where everything is soft-blocked (i.e, using software in windows) consider using a bootable moblin pendrive. I could just insert it into the usb port and boot it in 10 seconds to a custom instant-on desktop to browse the internet, view files, etc.
