Default Help me.. 8GB Kingston DataTraveller Pen drive..dead slow

recenty i have bought Kingston 8GB USB Flash drive..
while i copy 2GB of files (Winpen pack), it take 50 to 55 minutes..

transfer speed is
500+kbps after formatting FAT32 and
900 kbps to 1.10 mbps after formatting NTFS

i have shocked about its performance..
i have checked the pen drive and my system for malwares and its clean.
pl help me to find out the reason..

hmm. did you check in any other machine. Also, try reinstalling USB drivers. Looks like the usb stick is recognized as USB 1.1 stick and hence the reason for low speeds.

take it the dealer and let him try the same from his PC. If it is the same there, ask for a new one.
