Default Getting a budget quad

This week I'm going for an upgrade to build a quad core sytem.
My budget not more than 10k. As I do more sort of video encoding I guess a quad will serve much better than x2/x3.
decided on this config
AMD X4 9650 - 6300
Asus M2N68-AM SE2 - 2300
2GB Transcend DDR2 800 - 1200
retaining other old accessories. Are there any better configuration that I can look forward in this budget. kindly suggest.

Well, No advise from TD's. I settled for the above and had a test run today. Upon overclocking the core from 2.3 to 2.8 Ghz there seems to be notable performance increase.
Glad to see vdub and x.264 using all four cores which turns out for me the right choice.

Wait for new sub-150$ Intel quad core processor Q7xxx.

Also, I think X3 720 beats Phenom 9650 in most applications.
