Default Purchasing a new LCD monitor

Hiii friends,
I m planning to go for an LCD monitor, really want to give up this old dabba-monitor now. My budget is 10k-12k and i m looking for maximum size with Full HD support if possible. Please suggest a few models.

Samsung 2233SW

yes. 9600GT is not at all enough for FullHD gaming

and if you get something like HD4850 atleast, you may need to get a better PSU

Dell has not E2200HD in their LCD range it is from Benq. And my vote for Samsung 2233SW among these two. And yes you have to upgrade your GPU as well and I afraid PSU too.

There's no difference in the image quality of HDMI and DVI, but you might as well get HDMI because you can hook it up with a standalone DVD player and other devices if needed.
More devices have HDMI output than DVI output.

Thats true.....but will a HDMI to DVI converter help in that case?

also abt 2233SW i read this while googling:
"one major problem i find with this monitor is that it does not like any other res except for 1920x1080. if you play a game that is lower res and cannot be adjusted up, a display popup comes on in front of your game saying that the monitor is not at the optimal res and wont go away and then go to sleep after a minute. have to turn it off and on to get back to end the game. very frustrating"

does this happen with every 1920x1080 monitor? Coz i might have to wait for some time before shifting to GTX260 or a 4870

^^That is the case with any LCD monitor. You HAVE to put it at native resolution. But that resolution problem shouldn't be an issue. that reviewer should've updated drivers etc.
