320GB 16MB buffer

Please tell me the SATA Drives which are SATA I and II complatible

Ya all SATA ll HDDs are SATA l compatible.

Get WD WD320AAKS 320 GB @2.2K.

SATA 2 HDD can be put on SATA 1 port and viceversa, no issues in there.

sata 1 is backward compatible with sata 1 port. So there will be no problem.

Guys how good is Hitachi 320GB does it have a Jumper or something to make it SATA 1

Primeabgb is selling it at Rs 2150+(50) for me as delivery chrgs.

Does Hitachi also have 16MB buffer option

Go for WD WD320AAKS (blue power series 16MB buffer) 320 GB @2.2K eyes closed.

their is nothing wid SATA 1 or 2, its only the increase of Bandwidth in Sata 2, than Sata 1.
You Can Go For Hitachi, it is also a good option, I Myself use it for 3 years now, no problem at all

Surinder, I have Western Digital 1TB External HDD Essential Edition and i guess it is a Green one.

Please confirm whether it is green or not
