DVD DRIVE PROBLEM..PLS HELP

i have a lg dvd writer..........hl-dt-st dvdram gsa-h42n............it used to work fine but suddenly it reads only data discs..................it wont read any audio cds or movie dvds.......plz help

Please Try Cleaning the Lens or try updating the firmware

If that doesnt work try taking it to one of its service centres if it is under warranty.

Otherwise Buy a new DVD-RW Drive and this time dont buy from LG or SAMSUNG try
SONY or MoserBaer(Lite-On).

Frankly speaking Dont buy from Korean Companies they really Suck

For your info LG DVD drives are made by Hitachi and only marketed by LG.

This time don't go for LG. Have a very bad reputation of failing. Better stick to Sony or Samsung!

SONY is one of the worst, Best is Asus, then Samsung and the last and the least LG, Sony is the least and worst
