Branded PC for 30k

This the first time I'm venturing beyond Mobile Monsters sub-forum.
I hope this is the appropriate section for this query.

My friend is buying a PC. With our limited computing knowledge I suggested him not to go fr an assembled one coz many of my acquaintances have been cheated with inferior parts in assembled PC's (we can't assemble one on our own).

With a budget of 30k including a 19" LCD what branded options do we have?

Well, if gaming's not a priority, look at Dell. Currently, they rule!
