Default whats the difference????????


hey guys i need to know the difference b/w
MSI's R4870-T2D1G-OC and PALIT 4870 DuAL SONIC 1 GB.........
also which is the best third party vendor to go for......MSI or PALIT or SApPHIRE or XFX what else????????

Instead of depending upon brandname,check the products.The memory,Clock Frequency etc.Higher the values,better the card.

thats ok....but what is the difference b/w the above two cards......MSI and palit.......palit gives a smart switch in two modes turbo and normal in turbo the card works as a overclocked one's and in normal some less memory......in MSI one the profuct model number hs 'OC' it means overclocked but whats the diff. b/w

MSI : 780MHz core clock
Palit: 750 MHz core clock

memory speed is same on both (900MHz)

Palit card comes with VGA, DVI, HDMI and display port but MSI comes with two DVI ports.

MSI card is a factory overclocked card. Palit card on the other hand puts overclocking in the hands of users and thanks to it's dual fan design, it overclocks a bit more than other cards.

My pick here would be Palit. Thought it is a bit louder, it runs lot lot cooler than other cards.
