Procedure For RMA seagate Harddisk

hi friends

so after 3 years of using 80 gb seagate harddisk ,it developed some bad sector and now my computer hangs ,also speed got reduced.(sometimes transfer rate is 1mbps)

so thinking of replacing as warranty is till 2011

so can anyone tell me the procedure. i am from New Delhi janak puri.

in how many days can i expect to get my drive back also will they give me 80 gb or higher gb hardisk

Not sure but when i gave my HDD, it came back in 3 days flat. Since you live in Metro it can be even lower than that.

on my side return time is between 13-15days

yep, the service is very fast in metros. My frnd got his HDD within 5-days, but I got it in 18 days

Even i got it in a week's time. You can go to http://myservice.accelwms.in/index.aspx and register your RMA or call at 1800 425 4535 and they will do it for you. You can check the status of your call anytime by logging on to the above site.
