Default Need LCD Monitor


Hi,

I would like to buy a new LCD monitor.I rarely play games.I need the LCD monitor mostly for watching movies.I have a lot of 720p movies.My graphics card is Nvidia 6600 GT

Suggest me a good LCD monitor to watch 720p HD movies

Is it better than the above Dell Monitor for watching 720p movies ?

Which is the best monitor in 20 inch series?
Will the 720p movies look bad in 20 inch monitor compared to 19 inch monitor ?

Yes, Samsung 2033SW is also good. U can go for it also.

And if u want to go for 20 inch then y not go for 21.5" LCD. U can go for Full HD LCD Samsung 2233SW for some 10.3 K. U can view full HD i.e. 1920 x 1080 resolution . Go for this one.

the samsung has got higher resolution than dell

^^ Yes, +1. Samsung has got a resolution of 1600 x 900

And Dell has got a resolution of 1366 x768.

Its Samsung Dude, u need not to worry abt picture clarity. Dell & Samsung both r reputed names. U can go with any of them.

U can go for 2033 eyes closed.

They are all TN panels. Not much difference. A friend of mine bought samsung 2233sw which came only with a vga cable. On checking up with people, it only came with vga cable. Not sure if its the same case for 2033sw, but keep in mind if its not there then buy a dvi cable which retails for 250 bucks.

both have same resolution, 2033 is lil better in as its little bigger and being samsung u can buy locally.

Dell u need to order online, but both are equally priced. if you go for 20 inch model from Dell I mean.
