Palit 9600 gt compatibility

Hello all. i have a gigabyte S series mother board.Model no GA-M61xxxxx . I would like to install the palit 9600 gt sonic edition 1gb ddr3 card .is this card compatible with my board. if not then is the 9600gt reference card compatible. thanks everyone.

forget 9600, HD 4770 is there at around the same price with almost 60% better performance and consuming much less power. Palit 4770 costs 6.6k. It even beats HD 4850 or GTS250 with a bit of OCing.

I ll have a look at the palit HD 4770. Incase it is not available what else can i look into.Palit hd 4850?
