Smile BSNL T2 Modem


I have a BSLN T2 wireless router/BB modem which is connected to my computer running WinXP thorugh ethernet port, and wirelessly to my laptop which is running Win7. Is there a way I can access files in laptop from desktop and vice versa without any extra hubs or gadgets?

Yes
u can
the thing u need to do is...
1. Run Network Setup wizard. in both the computers, and remember to have common workgroup name.
2. Then go to my computer and right click on drives u want to share and then enable sharing in them.

In this way u will be able to access ur files of other PC on network

I do not think common workgroup name is necessary.

just share your folder and access on the other system through IP it will show up, no neccessity to run network setup wizard also.
